• A coeliac's dream!
  But! Speaking as a non coeliac, this place is great. Cosy pub vibe. Friendly staff. The usual expected COVID restrictions. The food was simply out-standing. Thai fishcakes to start, venison main and raspberry frangipane main. All tasty. Hot plates where expected. Good sized portions.

• Best ever service and food. Cannot recommend highly enough! We chose the angel for dinner as we needed gluten free food and it was so incredible we visited two nights in a row.
  The staff are incredibly attentive, and (even as a gluten eater myself) the food is incredible. Really highly recommend the pie and chips, the fresh soup of the day and the BBQ short ribs! Will definitely visit again when next in the area!

• Went with a friend who is dairy intolerant and it was nice to see that she didn't have to have a vegan dish. We had a beautiful beef bourginon pie, chips and peas all of which were dairy free and gluten free.
  The fish and chips were also dairy and gluten free. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to the helpful staff and the lovely atmosphere.
