Quality Food and Drink in Holmesfield, on the edge of the Peak District

The Angel is a traditional public house in the centre of Holmesfield, on the eastern edge of the Peak District, overlooking Sheffield and Chesterfield.

Brothers Jerry and Nigel Buckingham took over running the Angel in October 2009, already having a successful business in Hathersage, the Millstone Country Inn. Jerry and Nigel intend to create a great place to eat and drink in Holmesfield; a family run business, with family values.

We specialise in fresh good quality food, locally sourced wherever possible, prepared and cooked in our own kitchen using both modern and traditional methods, by people who care.

Because we produce all our own dishes, we are able to offer Gluten-Free dining throughout most of our menu.

The Angel at Holmesfield is a sister inn to the Millstone Country Inn at Hathersage.
