Quality Food and Drink in Holmesfield, on the edge of the Peak District

At The Angel we specialise in good quality food, locally sourced wherever possible, at reasonable prices, and hand-pulled cask ales. We aim to have up to six quality cask ales on tap and a good selection of wines.

Our menu is always varied, including traditional pub classics, vegetarian dishes, 'world' dishes and gluten-free options - and we have a 'specials' list which changes from day to day.

Sunday Lunch is a traditional old-fashioned family lunch of 1, 2 or 3 courses.The menu changes on a weekly basis but always includes a choice of three roast dinners and plenty of other options.
